 ccccccccccccc  I have been putting my daughter in Hanifah’s care since August 2013, at which time she was 1 year old. As you can cccccccccccccc imagine my husband and I were quite nervous to put our daughter in the care of someone else – she is our first born. Hanifah welcomed us to stay for a while each day to help our daughter adjust (and us too). In no time our daughter felt comfortable, as did we. Moving forward Hanifah was open with communication, letting us know what they did each day, what was eaten and how the naps went. It was very reassuring to hear these details and Hanifah always appreciated our updates too. She believes strongly that we are all working together for the children. She has no problems adjusting the daily schedule if an extra nap or extended nap is needed due to teething problems or what have you the previous night.Hanifah takes her job as a care provider very seriously. She provides weekly meal plans and monthly activity plans. She is extremely reliable. Our daughter is excited to go there each morning. We find this very reassuring. She has learned so much in the past year and a half. Hanifah constantly strives to find age-appropriate, engaging activities for the children. I am amazed at the knowledge my daughter has acquired! She knows more than I thought a 2 and a half year old could. Hanifah’s training in early child care education is valued by my husband and I, so much so that we have opted to keep our daughter in Hanifah’s care on a part-time basis while I am home on maternity leave. As a child who had a stay at home mom, it was difficult for me to put my daughter in the care of another person. But now, I no longer have that difficulty. Hanifah is loving and caring like a mother but also challenges my daughter to learn and be inquisitive to take risks. I feel confident and safe with Hanifah caring for my daughter and soon my son too!
